Hill Meetings

Linking the World, and specifically Mina Chang attended the following meetings on the Hill, to brief about our work, specifically proactive development, and the use of drone technology. 

 July 16th, 2015 

  • 9:30am - 10:15am:  Meeting with Gregory Simpkins, Staff Director of Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Human Rights.  Chairman Smith was unable to attend at the last-minute hearing that he was chairing.  

  •  10:30am - 11.15am:  Meeting with Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson 

  •  2pm - 2.45pm:  Meeting with Stephen Tausend who was representing Senator John Cornyn

  •  3pm - 4pm:  Briefing with Senate Foreign Relations Committee Staff, including Trey Hicks 

June 9th, 2016  

  • 11.30am - Noon:  Meeting with Phil McGovern, who was representing Senator Markey

  • 12:30pm - 1pm:  Meeting with Tom Zarzecki representing Senator Flake

  • 3pm - 3.30pm:  Meeting with Collin Davenport representing Representative Connolly

June 10th, 2016 

  • 1pm - 1.30pm:  Meeting with Chara McMichael representing Representative Weber

  • 2pm - 2.30pm:  Meeting with Ryan Evans representing Senator Isakson)
